My Week of Event Planning in Bellevue, WA

Hello Everyone! I am so sorry that I haven't posted anything in an entire week! I have been crazy busy here and just haven't had a chance! Part of the problem is that my laptop, which I use at home, is currently out of operation until mid-May. The other part is that I have been on an event all week! So, I thought I would share with you what I have been up to this week.

We all know that the economy is bad right now (hopefully not for too much longer!) and the national and international corporate events that normally have a large budget, have been cut across the board. So certain events that have, in the past, flown people in from all over the world, no longer have the ability to do so. We still need people from other countries to hear and know the information being exchanged, but we can no longer bring them over and have in-person meetings. Well, how do we solve the issue?

We have virtual events!!! Yes, that's right, we do web casting and live meetings with the people in other countries that do not have the ability to be there in person.

And that is what I have been doing all week. We had a three-day virtual meeting with countries from all over the world. It was definitely an opportunity for me to learn something new, and try out new technology. There were some bumps along the way, but for the most part it turned out great!

So, where do I go from here? I think I am going to start researching what it takes to run live meetings myself and try my hand at it. Instead of paying some other company to run them for me and my client, I am going to learn how to do it myself! Good idea, huh?

Full Production: My company, AMP, and I will help you plan the entire wedding, from start to finish, and be there the day-of to let you enjoy the day and not worry about a thing. You can relax from the very beginning knowing that we have everything taken care of. I can help you manage your budget, make all the necessary calls to different vendors and venues, set meetings, and take care of not only your wedding rehearsal, but the rehearsal dinner as well. Your only job is to help me understand what your vision for the day is, then relax and enjoy the day of your dreams.

Month-of/ Week-of Wedding Coordination: You already have the ceremony and receptions cites, have your caterer and cake baker, have sent out invitations, and signed contracts with your entertainment and décor companies. Now, you just want to sit back and relax while I help coordinate all the details and bring everything together for you big day. It’s that simple. I will need your contracts with vendors and then can handle the rest and make sure everything comes together. The stress is off of you because I will coordinate everything. All you have to do is show up!

Day-of-Wedding Coordination: You want to feel like a guest at your own wedding, without having to worry about all the little details and time lines of the day. I can help make everything run smoothly and stay on-time the day of the wedding. I will be at your ceremony rehearsal to make sure that everything runs smoothly, as well as the entire day of your wedding. I'll stay in constant communication with your venue and caterer, and help you stay on track with your timeline of the evening so nothing goes forgotten. You, and your closest family and friends can simply relax and enjoy themselves at the wedding.
